Inspiration - Art has always been a space for exploration, humor, and creativity in my life. I love working with different mediums like ceramics, sewing, prints, and jewelry, always learning and trying new things. My work is often inspired by rats and fish, which I bring to life through ceramic pieces and sewn bags made from upcycled jeans. I also love the beach, and that connection to nature influences many of my designs. Humor is a big part of my personality, and I enjoy making art that brings laughter and joy. For my personal banner, I want to reflect this playfulness through typographic designs, where each letter takes on a unique form, like a fish-shaped “U” or stitched details representing my sewing projects. I also plan to include 3D elements into my banner the sardines will be able to open up.
